Competition
|
It's a
fact! Rigid welded trusses are the ONLY way to build a lightweight
structure that can span up to 40-feet, resist 120-mile-per-hour winds, support
40-pounds of snow load per square foot, and still meet or exceed national
building codes.
At Weatherguard we make all our standard carports
stronger than any other on the market and keep your costs as low as possible for
a quality, high-strength building.
Our competitors' trusses are simply designed to
fool the uninformed buyer. Many of our competitors' products look like
they have a truss but their "truss" actually provides no structural advantage.
Their truss is actually a liability since it is only hanging by small mending
plates held on by a few sheet metal screws which don't contribute much strength
to the building.

Our Engineered Heavy Duty Radius Bent
Welded Truss
Our 2"x3" frames are radius bent the hard way maximizing
tube strength (like a 2x4 on its edge). This means they can be
honestly engineered -- unlike our competitor's small, thin, 2" x 2" frames,
and crush bends. No matter which way they bend it -- it's weak.
Trusses
make our standard carports stronger than
any other on the market and keep your costs as low as possible for a quality
high strength building.
The standard of strength, reliability,and
value since 1985!

Various manufacturers’ cheap units don’t even come close
to meeting design criteria, building codes, or providing the strength
necessary to withstand the worst weather conditions. |

Our metal roofing is custom made to meet code, easily spans
5 feet, and gives you 30+ pounds/foot of snow load. Our
competitor's roof material only delivers 14 pounds/foot at 5-feet span,
won't meet code, and was designed to cover chicken houses.

Our 24"
Hurricane Anchor
Up to 5,000 pounds Uplift Resistance Per

Their 12"
Rebar
Anchor
50 to 60 Pounds Uplift Resistance Per Anchor |

|
We use double fluted hurricane anchors
machine driven a full 24" to securely hold your unit down in the strongest
winds...They use cheap rebar "pins" driven in with a hammer
that offers virtually no uplift resistance, doesn't meet code, and might
allow
your building to fly away when the wind blows.
