Since 1985 when Weatherguard first introduced it's free-standing carport design to the world, it's been a staple in the residential and commercial building industry.

Requiring no concrete, going up in about 4 hours, and being constructed of maintenance free steel, Weatherguard's radical new design revolutionized an industry and brought huge savings to the consumer looking for basic shelter. 

Although we've been copied by literally hundreds of other manufacturers and "back yard builders", most of whom have long since passed by the wayside, our continued quality and professionalism, combined with new designs, has kept us firmly at the top of the small steel building world.

20 Years of Design & Innovation

While the basic "look" of our carports and garages is largely unchanged since 1985, rest assured it incorporates all the improvements of 20 years of design innovation while meeting code in all areas of the country.

Since day one, as our competitors sought to compete with us by making their units cheaper, smaller, and of lesser materials, thereby sacrificing quality, we strove to make our units bigger, stronger, and higher quality, while holding the line on pricing giving our customers true value at a fair price.

Our original style carports and garages simply can't be beat.  You can install them on concrete, gravel, grass, dirt, asphalt, block walls - you name it - without concrete and in most cases without site work - and it will withstand whatever Mother Nature can throw at it.
